Friebe’s Honey

Produce/product: Mallee and Orange Blossom Creamed Quality Table Honey. Available in 3 kg & 1 kg buckets; 500 g & 375 g jars and as 50 g gift samples. Bulk quantity available by arrangement. Also Beeswax Candles—rolled and hand-dipped.
How long have you been producing your product and why? Decades, but only in the Riverland for the last 5 years. We came for the great climate and access to the natural (chemical free) bush land for our bees. Why? Because some of us can handle the pain.
Do you have a best seller? Yes, 1 kg buckets followed closely by 375 g jars. Initially, people buy the smaller jars, then come for the larger and more economical 1 kg bucket.
What does the Riverland Farmers’ Market mean to you? We are able to meet our great customers and talk to them about the quality of our products and our philosophy on beekeeping. Our customers can taste the superiority of our honey over the supermarket brands. We love to support our region, the people here in the market are friendly, supportive and helpful.
Do you supply anywhere else? Yes: the Riverland, Murrayland and other regional areas of SA, several outlets in Adelaide suburbs, and the Carribean Market in Melbourne. Our customers can pick up leaflets at our stall which list all the outlets that stock us. We are joining the Barossa  Co-op who plan to market our honey in Sydney and Melbourne.
Can we place advance orders? Yes, any size order is welcome, including bulk quantities. You might like to place a larger order with us when organizing “Staff Thank You” gift baskets, Christmas presents or raffle prizes
